What causes this alert/warning?

This alarm is caused by a device having a driver related problem, such as malfunctioning driver for peripheral or hardware component. Depending on the hardware or the driver having the problem, user’s, or operating systems, ability to fully use all the functionality on the device may be impacted.

Other driver errors than the ones with error codes 22 (disabled by user) and 28 (device's drivers are not installed)

How should I react?

Device drivers are a fundamental component of any properly functioning computer system. Drivers are software that enables the hardware to properly communicate with the PC’s operating system. Missing, corrupted, or outdated drivers can result in various problems.

Check that the device is using correct drivers and install updates if necessary.

Which resources are affected?

In devices dashboard clicking the alert name, in alert list, filters the dashboard device list to contain all devices with the same alert.
Clicking 'Show more' link in the alert box expands the container to show the list of all affected devices.
