What causes this alert/warning?
Applixure Agent is monitoring event log and detects when application crash event, event code 1000, is created by Windows. On Mac, application crash events are recorded in the crash dump log files.
This alert is caused by visible software product that has raised frequent crashing events in wide range of devices. Percentage depends about the amount of devices in the environment.
Threshold values
- More than once per week.
- devices less than 100, percentage > 5%
- devices 101 - 500, percentage > 3%
- devices 501 - 2500, percentage > 2%
- devices 2501 - 5000, percentage > 1%
- devices more than 5000, percentage > 0.4%
How should I react?
Software crashing may indicate bad software quality or environmental factors. It might be possible to find out the reason for software crash from Windows event log.
Report this error to the software manufacturer or check if there is a updated version of the software.
Which resources are affected?
In software dashboard clicking the alert name, in alert list, filters the dashboard software list to contain all software with the same alert.
Clicking 'Show more' link in the alert box expands the container to show the list of software with the same alert. Under each software there is list of all affected devices.
